Just earlier the credits began to curlicue, a championship card appeared on-screen, conveying a message of remembrance for Harrell.

The title bill of fare read: "In Loving Retention of Chris Harrell."

Harrell'south connection to The Resident reportedly came through his piece of work for the Atlanta-based company Teamsters Local 728, which provides help with the product of films and Idiot box shows filmed in the country.

The Resident's creator pays tribute

Post-obit the broadcast of episode ane, one of The Resident'south co-creators and writers, Amy Holden Jones, took to social media to pay a tribute of her own.

Responding to a query on Twitter, the 67-year-old screenwriter said Harrell was "A long term coiffure member who was treasured" by The Resident'southward bandage and coiffure.

Jones also confirmed that Harrell "passed this twelvemonth," while according to a GoFundMe page set for Chris, he passed abroad unexpectedly earlier in 2022 during a medical procedure.

He is survived by his wife and children.
